The Southbury Historical Society (SHS) will be welcoming Santa to read The Night Before Christmas and share cookies and hot chocolate. In order to allow for more attendees, Santa will read the story every 45 minutes. The event is free. SHS is also offering its annual pewter Christmas ornament at Town Clerk’s Office and Newbury Place. This year it features the Southford Train Station that once was in Southford. The ornament was designed by Laurel Casazza and made by Woodbury Pewter.
