Our venue, the Wyndham Southbury, is a well-established event location known for hosting successful trade and specialty shows, with the added comfort of on-site dining, lodging, and a full bar.

We’re ECGMS Inc., doing business as East Coast Gem & Mineral Society. We’re a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Connecticut—a group of passionate rockhounds who love gems, minerals, crystal digging, and healing. Our motto is simple:
“Let’s Just Dig.”
It’s about the energy, the bond, the camaraderie. It’s about connecting with the Earth and appreciating what it offers us.
We meet on the first Wednesday of every month—virtually via Google Meet for our regional members. We plan field trips, shows, picnics, and other events to raise funds and build community.
We’re all about positive energy. No negativity—just good vibes, great people, and a shared love of rocks and minerals. Whether you lead a trip, donate food, join a committee, or just help spread the word online, every bit counts.
