The Southbury Arts & Culture Alliance (SACA) second Free Pantry Shopping Day
Saturday, April 18, 2026

We believe creativity should be accessible to everyone! By providing free art supplies, to empower artists of all backgrounds to explore new techniques, experiment with new ways to make art, and create without financial limits.

8am -10am DONATIONS OF SUPPLIES: 
We will be accepting donations from the public of gently used art supplies. You may also bring your donations prior to the event to one of our community partner drop-off locations at The Cottage at Main, Vicinanza Studios & Gallery, or Southbury Parks & Recreation. 

10am - 12pm  FREE SHOPPING EVENT (while supplies last, first come, first served) 

At Southbury Parks and Recreation - All-purpose Room

How it works:
All community members are welcome to shop and select supplies. This shopping event is at no cost to the shoppers.

Volunteers will be on site to assist with questions and shoppers.

Take what you need. Each bin lists the maximum number of items per person. Please take only what you need so others may enjoy it, too. 

Need more? If you're in need of larger quantities, speak with a SACA volunteer, we're happy to assist you with your request. Requests are not guaranteed and will be handled on an indvidual basis. 

Crowd Management: In the event it gets busy we may limit the number of shoppers at one time. Please wait patiently if asked to join the next group. 

Be kind, be respectful: Handle materials with care. Treat our volunteers and other shoppers with respect and kindness. 

Check out with a volunteer before you leave.
