- **Event Description**: At the crossroads of South American Folklore and Northern Americana a Berklee-trained band of rising stars is taking the acoustic music scene by storm.  Acoustic Nomads interweaves musical threads from two continents to create soaring original melodies, playful improvisations, and driving grooves to sweep listeners away on a musical journey from the Appalachians to the Andes!  

Listening to Acoustic Nomads live performances and studio albums, you will hear elements of jazz, newgrass, candombe from Uruguay, chacarera from Argentina, samba and forró from Brazil, landó & festejo from Perú, huayno from the Andes, joropo & jota from Venezuela, and progressive acoustic music from all over, played at the highest level of musicianship. 

Music begins promptly at 6:30pm, and the concert is FREE and OPEN to all!  

This concert made possible thanks to a generous grant from the Mass Cultural Council through the Southbridge Cultural Council, and by the tireless work of one Margaret Morrissey, who does so much to bring live music to Southbridge.
