It is designed to provide an introduction to the Southampton Space Institute and to highlight to industry our Photonics research, the Optoelectronics Research Centre (ORC) and our world famous Cleanroom facilities, including the Cornerstone photonics foundry, where space photonics technologies are manufactured.The event is free and all refreshments are provided.In the morning after coffee and networking there will be some swift presentations followed by a tour of facilities.After a networking lunch there will be an ‘industry meets research’ session, where companies can meet photonics researchers face to face through a ‘speed dating’ activity.
