This course aims to provide you with the opportunity to explore and understand more advanced nursing implications and care related to working with children or young people with a cancer diagnosis. Topics sometimes covered in this day:• insight in to the complex issues surrounding childhood cancer• clinical oncology emergencies and how they are treated and managed• identify and understand new therapies and trials being introducedIf you are SACT comeptant, this will also be your annual SACT updateOn completion of the course, you should have built on your current knowledge of the care involved in treating patients with a childhood cancer.
