Remembrance Day: A Moment of Reflection

Join South Tyneside College for a Moment of Reflection this Remembrance Day.

📍 South Shields Cemetery Cenotaph (entrance to the cemetery)

Our students will lead a short walk of respect through the cemetery to the Cenotaph, followed by readings, poems, the laying of a wreath, and a two-minute silence to honour those who served and sacrificed.

After the ceremony, attendees are invited to share in tea and coffee together.

Poppies will be available on the day — donations welcome (please bring cash).

All members of the public are warmly invited to attend and pay their respects.
