​A Quick Note on Safety:
We want everyone (and every pup!) to have a brilliant time. Please keep your dogs under control and be responsible for them so we can ensure the safety and comfort of the whole group.

​We want to make it as easy as possible for everyone to join. Here are the best ways to reach The Dunes from around the region:
​From Newcastle:
​Bus: Take the Crusader 27 or the X34 directly to South Shields.
​Metro: Take the Yellow Line to South Shields Interchange, then it's just a short walk or a quick hop on a local bus (like the 7 or E1) to the seafront.
​From North Tyneside:
​Ferry: The Shields Ferry is the most iconic way to arrive! It runs every 30 minutes from North Shields to South Shields.
​Bus: The 317 connects North Shields to the Ferry landing, or you can take the Metro via Pelaw.
