Bringing our local running community together to support those in need this Christmas. This will be our 9th year supporting our local foodbank @keycommunityne - a vital charity in South Shields ❤️

This year’s festive run at South Shields seafront is all about community spirit. We’re inviting all local running clubs, sports clubs, gyms, fitness groups and independent runners to come together for a great cause. 

? Fun Run Event details:
1km Mini Run for children
5km Full Course
Run, walk or jog — everyone is welcome
Dogs on a short lead & buggies welcome

? How to take part:
There’s no entry fee — simply bring along a donation for the Key 2 Life Food Bank. Volunteers will be at the start to collect items. 

The charity are in need of:

  *   Cereal and long-life milk
  *   Tinned fruit, vegetables, meat, fish, soup and spaghetti
  *   Tinned custard and rice pudding
  *   Instant snack meals
  *   Pasta and curry sauces
  *   Bottled juice
  *   Festive treats and confectionery
  *   Toothpaste, toilet rolls and shower gel
  *   Baby essentials
  *   Washing powder and household cleaning products
