------------------WHAT WE DO------------------
Unfold Fusion is a place to unwind and for dancers of all experience levels to practice partner dancing. It’s a safe space to connect with the Salt Lake City Fusion dance community, ask questions, learn from each other, and workshop skills. Come dance, connect, and play!

***Admission is on a sliding scale: $5–$10***
Please pay what you are able to; it keeps Unfold running! 
That said, nobody will be turned away for lack of funds. 

:WHEN:
~The 1st and 2nd Tuesdays of every month~

Lessons are always @7–7:30pm
*1st Tues*: level 1/beginner lesson
**2nd Tues**: level 2/intermediate lesson

Open practica (all are welcome!) + community time @7:30–10pm

Chappell Brewing @ 2285 S Main St, South Salt Lake, UT 84115 

:FOOD AND DRINK INFO:
There is sometimes(but not always) a food truck parked outside the brewery, and outside food is welcome. 
The taproom will be open and serving both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Please be sure to drink and dance responsibly. (This event is +21 only)

Q: But what even is Fusion Dancing?
A: I’m so glad you asked! Fusion is a style of partner dance (where two people dance together) that holds connection, expression, and musicality as its main focus. Fusion lives up to its name by pulling techniques, styling, and inspiration from any/all other dance styles and blending them together into something new.

Q: OK…but what the heck is a “practica”?
A: Excellent question! A practica is an informal gathering where dancers of all experience levels gather to practice, learn, and experiment with new techniques. Dancers are encouraged to ask questions and learn from each other, but everyone takes things at their own pace. Nobody will judge you for “messing up” here; it’s a great place to ask for feedback or ask to try something again. That said, it’s totally valid to grab a drink and simply observe other dancers as they practice. 

Q: Saying “no”
A: Tired from the day or not sure you’re up to dancing very much? Everyone is welcome to say “no” to invitations to dance and to offers of feedback. Exercising your “no” and gracefully accepting someone else's is an integral part of Fusion culture, and an excellent way to flex your freewill. This time and space is for you to use as you need. Be respectful and kind, and do you, Boo. We’ll back you up.
