February "Request Your Dance" Event

🎶 What’s a Request Dance?
Request Dances are all about bringing dance communities together for an evening of music, movement, and fun! You get to text the DJ what dance style you want—Cha-Cha, Salsa, West Coast Swing, Blues, Tango, Waltz, and more—and we’ll play a song suited for that style (but also other styles that fit that music). Even if you don’t know that dance, you can still join in, so everyone gets more dances and more fun!

💃 How It Works

Text your dance request to the DJ to queue it up.

A projector shows the current song, dances that fit it, what’s coming up next, and what’s “in the hole” (after next).

This helps you prep, find a partner before the song starts, and never miss a beat!

🕺 Learn, Practice, & Try New Dances

Not familiar with every dance? No problem! A 1-hour lesson (7–8 PM) before the dance is included in your admission.

Top instructors from all over the valley rotate through to teach and help on the floor. Look for their colored wristbands—they’re happy to dance with you or show a few moves.

You’ll see Nightclub Two-Step, Cha-Cha, Salsa, Rumba, West Coast Swing, Country Swing, Blues, Tango, and more—all to the same music!

🌟 Who’s Welcome?

ALL dancers are invited—any age, background, or experience.

Ballroom, Latin, Swing, Country, Blues, Tango, Club—everyone’s welcome!

Leave little ones at home; grown-ups only, please.

🕘 When & How Much

$15 per person or $25 per couple (Lead/Follow). Pay at the door with cash, card, or Venmo.

Includes the pre-dance lesson.

👗 What to Wear & Other Info

No strict dress code—just wear something comfortable for dancing.

Dance is judgment-free: respect others, practice proper etiquette, and enjoy!
