For those that don’t know, Griffins of Kinsale is a family owned classic Irish pub, known for being warmly lit and very cozy. In fact, we are holding it right where the chess social first took root nearly a decade ago, and where so many perfect nights of music, laughter, and sharp tactics have played out. If you’ve been before, you know the vibe. If you haven’t… you’re in for something special.Expect a full room of friendly chess playing faces, quiet thinkers, loud celebrators, and everyone in between. We’ll have live music throughout the night—soft and atmospheric early, more lively and social as the evening grows. Boards on every table. Casual games. Fierce ones. Surprising upsets. Memorable blunders. Connections that last.Come whenever, stay as long as you want. Most people do.November 29th, 2025Griffins of Kinsale1007 Mission St. South Pasadena 910308:00pm - 1:00amFree and Convenient ParkingCommunity Note:We’re hosting a non-perishable food drive to support local food pantries, especially important as we move into the colder months (especially since food insecurity is predicted to soon be hitting quite hard). If you can, bring a can or two. If not, still come. Your presence is a joy:whether you’re new, returning, rusty, confident, curious, or just chess-adjacent…we’ll be pleased to see you there! - **Event URL**: https://allevents.in/south-pasadena/november-chess-social/100001963652758260 - **Event Categories**: music, live-music, entertainment - **Interested Audience**: - total_interested_count: 0 ## Ticket Details - **Ticket Price Range**: min: 0, max: 0, currency: USD ## Event venue details - **city**: South Pasadena - **state**: CA - **country**: United States - **location**: Griffins of Kinsale - **lat**: 34.1155694 - **long**: -118.15680609999998 - **full address**: Griffins of Kinsale, 1007 Mission St. , South Pasadena, United States ## Event gallery - **Alt text**: November Chess Social - **Image URL**: https://cdn-az.allevents.in/events8/banners/4255174e6c2d1035e3097348520eb0aa2e6b64fa2a776ff66cd234a8b44a4899-rimg-w1200-h800-dc111110-gmir.jpg?v=1762845672 ## FAQs - **Q**: When and where is November Chess Social being held? - **A:** November Chess Social takes place on Sat, 29 Nov, 2025 at 08:00 pm to Sat, 29 Nov, 2025 at 11:30 pm at Griffins of Kinsale, 1007 Mission St. , South Pasadena, United States. - **Q**: Who is organizing November Chess Social? - **A:** November Chess Social is organized by Karl Rollert. - **Q**: Who is this event for?
