Exploring the continental shelf deep water over the Jervis Bay canyons looking for marine mammals & bird life, a great photographic opportunity and contribute to citizen science.

A full day on the water traveling offshore to explore the continental shelf deep water drop-off in search of pelagic species such as offshore dolphins, whales, sharks and abundant bird life.

With sightings of False Killer Whales and Risso’s and Pantropical dolphins on the east coast in recent weeks along with a few early Humpback whales an offshore trip is ready to go. 

The Jervis Bay canyons providing rich nurturance for multiple  marine life, creating this top-level food chain and with good evidence of Giant Squid caught in the area, this key prey know to the Sperm whales that feeds in the deep waters of the continental shelf and possibly over these Jervis Bay canyons. Sperm whales have been seen off Shellharbour and Batemans Bay last year and we have had two Sperm whale calves stranded at Jervis Bay.
