On Sunday July 19th, first lap starting at 6:00am sharp, the Joggernauts will host their 5th annual Big Backyard.  
A 4.1 mile loop in Caledonia State Park. Each lap will start and end infront of Oak Pavilion (it is the one closest to the bathrooms in the back parking lot).
The goal, to run/walk/jog/or hike this rout and be back in the box at the start/finish line before the next lap starts. With the first lap starting at 6:00am on the dot, a new lap will start every hour on the hour until the final lap at 3:00 pm at which time whoever remains will race the final lap, first one back is your champion. (10 laps, 10 hours) Fail to make it to the start line before any of the next laps start and you are out. 
There is strategy in every step you take, go faster or slower… the choice is yours. 
Please understand that this is a completely free event so you will be responsible for setting up your own aid station (food, water, etc) and that this is a challenging rout, There have only ever been 3 to complete all 10 laps.

***RUNNERS OF ALL ABILITIES ARE WELCOMED!
Set your own goal for the day maybe it’s one lap under an hour… maybe it’s 12 miles or 6 laps… maybe it’s to run for 4 hours … whatever it is, set a goal for the day and don’t let anything stop you from achieving it. 
*** If you’re out of championship contention you don’t have to leave the course, you can keep going for as long as you wish at whatever pace you want!  This event is about pushing your own personal limits and smashing goals!
