It's been quite the journey. It started on the 15th September 2018. The party night concept was inspired by me Mark, Rachael and Lyle Blakemore creating a night playing music from the '80s more specificaly a new sound that came for the UK incorporating Synth music and pop punk and club fashion influencers seen at iconic clubs like the Blitz Club and Berlin that the media called it the New Romantic movement.There was nothing like it at the time. We started on the 15th September 2018. Over the years we moved to a number of venues starting at 420 Nightclub, La De Da, Moser Room, RMH, Jacksons and Club Pandora. Its been quite the journey. We have had many of Melbourne's finest DJ's playing for us over the years and had an welcoming open door policy excepted all gendre types in the community and proud to say that in all of that time we never had one incident. Its been a joy presenting the party month after month, bar intervals during Covid Lockdowns. This will be the 68th and final Alternative 80s and '90s Party. Come and help me and my crew celebrate the end of an era.
