Melanie Benjamin is the New York Times and USA Today bestselling author of nine historical novels, including The Swans of Fifth Avenue, The Aviator's Wife, and The Children’s Blizzard. For more than fifteen years she has returned famous women to the center of their own stories. A theater-trained speaker, she lives in the Chicago area. Julie Gerstenblatt is the author of Daughters of Nantucket and The Stargazer of Nantucket, and holds a doctorate in curriculum and instruction from Teachers College, Columbia University and has taught everything from middle school English to graduate studies.
