Special December Fun: Don’t forget to bring a “White Elephant” for our annual fundraiser/Holiday raffle. We draw tickets until all the “Elephants” are gone! Also bring a holiday treat to share for refreshments. Please bring one or 2 “White Elephants” for the raffle. Tickets will be available at the meeting $1 each or 6 for $5. The monthly meeting of the The Sand Ridge Audubon Society is held at Sand Ridge Nature Center, 15891 Paxton Avenue, South Holland, IL. Refreshments are served at 6:30pm and the meeting and program begin at 7pm. The Sand Ridge Audubon Society is an environmental organization dedicated to conservation of birds and their habitats, as well as promoting other nature-related causes and activities. Membership: A reminder: September and October mark our annual membership drive. Memberships all end the 30th of September. Your dues are used to pay a gratuity to speakers and to print and mail newsletters to members that have limited or no access to the internet. If you don’t want a membership at this time, donations are always appreciated. We do not send membership cards through the mail however if you attend the meetings, we have cards we fill out for you for your wallet. The things we do as a group are important. We help make a difference! You may mail your annual dues or bring them to a meeting. We do not have the ability to take your dues online. Our annual membership drive continues for membership for Sept. 2025 - Sept. 2026. Individual Membership: $10.00 and Family Membership: $15.00 (two or more at the same address).
