- **Event Description**: Dear friends,

On February 3, 2026, Bneta Davido died here in western Michigan after a sudden but fierce battle with intense health issues. A January diagnosis led many of us to believe we would have more time with her, but that was not to be. 

The news of her death spread throughout South Haven quickly that day, a direct sign of Bneta’s impact on our entire community. Now, this Saturday, February 28 at 10:30 am, we will gather at The Church of the Epiphany (410 Erie St, South Haven, MI) to celebrate her life and commend her spirit to God. 

Our pastoral announcement of her death is available linked in this event's discussion tab, and her obituary in New Jersey, where she will be buried this week alongside her second husband, is linked there as well. We have also included a link to Zoom, should you not be able to attend in person.

After our 10:30 service, a lunch reception will be held at the First Congregational Church (651 Phoenix St, South Haven, MI) where Bneta also attended and where she held office space. All are invited and welcome to attend both the service and the reception. Speakers will be invited forward to remember Bneta at the reception, and donations to causes chosen and approved by the family will be taken at both events.
