My Summer with Ospreys, a walk at the Lloyd Center with author Pamela Lowell

We're so excited to be looking for ospreys with Jamie Bogart from the Lloyd Center and Pamela Lowell, as we delve into Lowell's book, My Summer with Ospreys: A Therapists Guide toward Hope, Community & Healing Our Planet.

Lowell's book details the summer she spent observing osprey as part of a Mass Audubon project and the insights they offered her. Her book is a breezy memoir of a special summer where she embraced an unfamiliar and engaging subject. Over the course of several months, she monitored the ospreys weekly along the Westport River (even learning to band them). It's a lovely read, made all the more so by the watercolors inspired by that season which she has included as illustrations.
