In 2025 the tradition grows even more powerful.  Under the direction of Dr Graeme Morton AM the acclaimed Brisbane Chamber Choir joins forces with orchestra and guest soloists to present Handel’s beloved masterpiece – from its stirring overture to the triumphant final chorus. But the most unforgettable moment will come when 200 student singers flood the stage to raise the roof in the thunderous Hallelujah Chorus.  Founded in 1997 the Brisbane Chamber Choir has earned a reputation as one of Australia’s most versatile ensembles performing repertoire that spans centuries and nurturing the next generation of choral talent. This performance of Messiah embodies both majesty and intimacy tradition and fresh energy.  “Handel’s Messiah has a timeless ability to move audiences” says Dr Morton. “By combining the artistry of Brisbane Chamber Choir with the energy and joy of young singers in the Hallelujah chorus this performance will capture the spirit of the season in an unforgettable way.”  The performance will feature four outstanding soloists whose national reputations promise an evening of vocal brilliance.
