News Literacy Workshop

Become a news detective! Learn to spot fake news and navigate the media safely.

This is a NewsWise workshop led by library staff & The Guardian Foundation. It will include fun and engaging activities to learn about:

Spotting misinformation
Managing feelings about the news and what we see online
Understanding how online information is targeted
Fact vs opinion
How images can be manipulated with artificial intelligence (AI)
