About the event

Winter Walk 2026

Join us for a one-mile solidarity walk to support women and children and celebrate the power of community. New this year: the walk begins promptly at 1:00pm at the site of the future front door of St. Margaret's House on the south side of our building, near the corner of Lafayette and Washington.

The one-mile route loops through downtown South Bend with interactive stops at key places that are part of the everyday experiences of St. Margaret's House guests. The walk finishes at South Bend City Church with cookies, hot cocoa, popcorn, Silk Creations Pop-up Shop, and plenty of fun for all ages.
