- **Event Description**: After months of blistered fingers, confused spouses, and heated debates about what exactly counts as “in tune,” a number of brave, middle-aged men will step out from their garages and into the wild for their very first 10-song set at the bar inside the Embassy Suites.

By day, they are responsible adults with careers, car payments and reading glasses perched somewhere on their heads. By night (well, early evening — they’d like to be home by 10), they are students of six strings and four, fearlessly tackling chords they only recently stopped calling “that stretchy one.” Armed with fresh calluses, color-coded setlists, and the cautious optimism of men who have finally learned how to tune without YouTube, they’re ready.

Expect classic riffs, earnest harmonies, the occasional heroic recovery, and at least one bass line played with the intense concentration of someone defusing a bomb. It may not be perfect — but it will be loud, heartfelt, and 100% proof that it’s never too late to start a band.

Rock and roll has entered its sensible era. And it sounds pretty good.

Although the group doesn't have a name yet, please come out an support live music. Doug and the others are all taking lessons and now are about the face the audience.
