Spring Break Day: All About Beavers

Learn about beavers and their interesting habits, from tail-slapping to mud-digging to dam-building! We'll start in the classroom with a short presentation about nature's builders geared towards school-aged kids. Then, we'll head out on a one-mile hike around the river trail to see evidence of our resident beavers. Dress to be outside for about an hour and wear shoes that can get muddy.

Cost: $5 per person, which includes the program and access to the education center after the program. Free for Schramm Family Pass members. Pack a lunch and make a day of it: the Treehouse Classroom will also be open until 2 pm.
