Networking and Wine: Aging Connections Hosts Inaugural Bus Tour
Connect with Industry Colleagues While Exploring Michigan Wine Country
Aging Connections of Michiana is launching its first-ever Networking Bus Tour, combining professional relationship-building with a delightful exploration of two renowned Michigan wineries. This unique event offers senior care professionals the opportunity to strengthen referral relationships in a relaxed and enjoyable setting.
Set for Wednesday, November 12, 2025, the tour will take participants to Round Barn and Red Top wineries in Baroda, Michigan, providing a perfect backdrop for meaningful conversations and connections.
A Day of Connections and Exploration
The day begins at University Park Mall in Mishawaka, with check-in taking place between 10:00 and 10:30 a.m. From there, participants will journey to Round Barn Winery, arriving at 11:15 am for a two-hour experience at this picturesque venue. After exploring Round Barn, the tour continues to nearby Red Top Winery for another engaging stop before returning to Mishawaka by 4:20 pm.
"We designed this tour specifically for professionals who serve seniors and their families," explains a representative from Aging Connections. "Building strong referral networks is essential in the senior care industry, and sometimes the best connections happen outside traditional networking events."
Beyond Business Cards
Unlike typical networking events confined to conference rooms, this tour creates natural opportunities for meaningful conversations. Whether you're a healthcare professional, senior living representative, home care provider, or any other professional serving older adults, this tour provides an opportunity to build relationships that can benefit the seniors you support.
Each attendee will receive a limited-edition Aging Connections tote bag—perfect for carrying information, business cards, and perhaps a bottle of wine purchased during the tour.
Registration Information
The tour is open to both members and non-members of Aging Connections:
• ACOM Members: $40 per person
• Non-members: $45 per person
Space is limited to ensure a quality experience for all participants.
