Marine Corps League – Christmas Party Announcement**
Subject: 🎄 Join Us for the Marine Corps League Christmas Party – December 20th!
Dear Members and Families,
The Marine Corps League Detachment is pleased to invite you to our annual Christmas Party, taking place on Friday, December 20th from Noon to 4:00 PM at the Devil Dog’s Den. This year’s event will be family-friendly and filled with food, festivities, and holiday cheer for all ages. We look forward to celebrating the season together as a Detachment and community.

🎄 KIDS’ ACTIVITIES
We will have a variety of fun and engaging activities to make the day special for our youngest guests:
• Coloring Picture Table – Children can color festive pictures and hang them up for display or take them home.
• Christmas Creation Corner – Kids can create their own cards, decorations, and snowflakes to give to loved ones.
• Hot Cocoa & Sugar Cookie Table – Children can make a custom hot cocoa with marshmallows, peppermint, whipped cream, and sprinkles, paired with a sugar cookie.
• Lollipop Christmas Tree – Kids may select a lollipop; those with a special marking can be redeemed with the bartender for a prize.
• Kids’ Games – Including Snowman Bowling, Candy Cane Fishing, and an ongoing “Hidden Elf-on-the-Shelf” search throughout the party.
• Gift Receiving – Santa or one of his elves will be present to hand out small gifts to the children.

🎅 ADULT ACTIVITIES
Our adult guests will enjoy a variety of holiday fun:
• Dessert Bake-Off – Bring a dessert to share. “Secret Elf Judges” will determine the winner, who will receive a $20 cash prize.
• Ugly Sweater Contest – The winner, voted on by the crowd, will receive a stocking filled with goodies.
• White Elephant Gift Exchange – Bring a wrapped gift (gag gifts encouraged) valued between $0–$20 to participate.
• Christmas Trivia – Three rounds of 10 questions. First place wins $10, second place wins $5. Ties will be settled with a question-off.

• Pinwheel sandwich tray
• Assorted cookie tray
Members are welcome and encouraged to bring a dish to share.
The more food we have, the merrier the gathering will be.
