Her journey began in a high school darkroom photography class, an experience that changed the trajectory of her life and revealed that photography was where she was meant to be.Krista earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Indiana University and has been teaching photography to children and adults in her community for more than eleven years. She is passionate about mentoring and sharing the joys of photography, and currently teaches at the Kroc Center, the South Bend Museum of Art, and Ivy Tech Community College.Her fine art photography has been exhibited in local galleries and museums, as well as nationally in California and Washington, D.C., and internationally overseas.
