The South Shields Landmark Challenge 2025

“The Most Fun Running Event of The Year!”

After a record breaking event in 2024, we’ll be returning this year with New Landmarks, New Adventures & New Landmark Challenge Medals!

The challenge is a fun & exciting project with a combination of running, navigation and the history & heritage of South Shields. The challenge will have set start & finish points, but the remaining checkpoints can be completed in any order and you can navigate your own route.

You will need to work out where the checkpoints are as a team. Join us afterwards for post run refreshments & awards with all of the runners & organising team.

Open to all levels of runner including members and non members of running clubs. Fancy dress and team outfits actively encouraged!
