Before launching Instep Ministries, Darryl spent more than 23 years in pastoral ministry across Canada and the United States. His early years included shepherding Bluesky Mennonite Church in Bluesky, Alberta, followed by Manor Gospel Church in Three Hills, Alberta. He later served for 13 years as Associate Pastor at Petra Church with Pastor Lester Zimmerman in New Holland, Pennsylvania, where his leadership and relational depth left a lasting impact.
 
Darryl and Joyce are proud parents of three children and grandparents to five, all residing in the United States. Their shared passion for leadership development, discipleship, and church planting has taken them across continents. After living in Europe for over 16 years, they continue to mentor and provide counsel to a network of pastors through IMI Fellowship, a relational network birthed out of Instep Ministries.
 
Recently, Darryl accepted an invitation to serve as an Overseer on the Apostolic Team of the Hopewell Network, furthering his commitment to strengthening churches and empowering leaders.
 
He believes that healthy pastors and thriving churches are essential instruments in advancing God’s Kingdom. His life and ministry reflect a deep commitment to equipping leaders, fostering unity, and cultivating spiritual growth across generations and cultures.
