As an active Grade 1/2 primary school teacher on the Mornington Peninsula with a Bachelor of Education and Certificate III in Childhood Development, Charlotte brings a unique blend of educational expertise and mindfulness practice to her work.In the discussion with Char you will:Identify your own triggers and understand the roots of reactivity, so you can pause before responding in challenging situations.Use mindfulness techniques to create space between stimulus and response, allowing you to act intentionally rather than react impulsivelyRepair after moments when, inevitably, you react rather than respond mindfully—turning these experiences into opportunities for connection and growth.Build daily habits and routines that reduce overwhelm and set up your day for more regulated, connected family interactionsPractice and model age appropriate emotional regulation strategies to help your child learn these essential skills.Co-regulate with your child by staying calm, validating big emotions, and guiding them through simple exercises during moments of distressFoster an environment where emotional ups and downs are expected, accepted, and navigated together with compassionThe evening will include:A 30-minute mat Pilates class with HanA 45-minute workshop led by CharlotteBubbles & nibbles with likeminded local womenThe details:Date: Tuesday 26th August Time: 5:30–7pmEach session is limited to 15 spotsFree to attend | Please note: $20 cancellation fee applies for no-showsWe look forward to welcoming you into the studio.Due to very limited spots available if you can no longer attend, please reach out to us sorrentostudio@ourpilates.com.au so we can cancel your spot and release it to someone else.
