This Workshop for kids and parents offers a fun, hands-on experience where children can learn about the art, history, and cultural significance of Black hairstyling. Guided by skilled instructor, Tacita Browne, participants will explore braiding techniques, and self-expression through hair, while gaining an appreciation for Black cultural traditions. This interactive and inclusive workshop encourages creativity, confidence, and pride in cultural heritage in a safe and supportive environment.
