Keith Putney Productions brings you to another Classic Rock Crossroads event featuring complete back- to- back performances of Crosby, Stills Nash, and Young’s “Déjà vu” and Neil Young’s “Harvest” performed by a gifted cast.
Named one of popular music's All-Time Greatest Albums by Rolling Stone magazine, Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young’s “Déjà vu” quickly became an album that defined the era upon its release in 1970. After the rapturous response to 1969’s “Crosby, Stills and Nash”, 800 hours of studio work were devoted the creation of “Déjà vu”, but the effort reaped breathtaking rewards. Underground FM embraced the album in its entirety, and upon reflection their judgement remains sound, so Briz, David Blasucci, Chris Ralles, Sally Zito and more have invested their talents in presenting the album live on stage from start to finish. “Carry On”, “Teach Your Children”, “Almost Cut My Hair”, “Helpless”, “Woodstock”, “Déjà vu”, “Our House”, “4 + 20”, “Country Girl”, and “Everybody I Love You” are the tracks that added up to an unforgettable classic.
In a career filled with superb albums and classic performances, 1972’s “Harvest” became Neil Young’s iconic, signature recording. Many of the songs were unveiled during solo acoustic tour in early 1971, but “Harvest” wasn’t released until February, 1972. “Old Man”, “Alabama” “Harvest”, “The Needle and the Damage Done”, “Heart of Gold” ,“Out On The Weekend” “Are You Ready for the Country”, “Words” ”There’s a World’ and “A Man Needs A Maid” combine for an album worthy of its legendary status; it has also been named one of the greatest albums of all time by Rolling Stone and Q magazine.
The show will also include musical milestones from each of the individuals that made up Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young.
Our cast:
Musical Director, vocalist and Guitarist DAVID BLASUCCI’s gig credits include work with Bobby Kimball (TOTO), Melissa Manchester, Bo Diddley, Badfinger, Little Anthony and countless others. He made his silver screen debut as a member of the New Main Street Singers in the Christopher Guest comedy, “A Mighty Wind.”
Guitarist and vocalist Briz has used his soulful voice and gift for songwriting to propel thousands of performances over his decades long career. As Rob Lincoln from PASA Concerts review stated :"This Neil Young and Springsteen influenced songwriter sings sweet, plays hard and delivers a knockout.”
Drummer Chris Ralles brings his power and precision back to “Deju vu” and “Harvest” the Grammy Museum. Touring and recording with gold and platinum recording artists for 25 years is no easy feat. When asked about the secret to his success, Ralles says, “I’ve been very lucky. I work hard on the material. I show up on time and I wear a clean shirt.” His numerous television appearances include “The Today Show,” “The Tonight Show,” “The Arsenio Hall Show,” “The Dennis Miller Show,” “ABC In Concert,” VH1, TNN, The Disney Channel, and Fox News Channel . .
