About:
Karolyn María Alomá Gainza is a Cuban dancer, choreographer, and teacher, trained at the prestigious National School of Arts in Havana and currently completing her fourth year at the Higher Institute of Arts with a major in Contemporary Dance.
From 2022 to 2025, she was part of the cast of König der Löwen (The Lion King) in Hamburg, Germany. In 2025, she joined Disney’s Hercules musical in Hamburg, performing as Medusa and Ana Luz in the ensemble. That same year, she was featured as a soloist in the Cuban musical Roots, The Rise of Salsa in Mainz, Germany, and taught at the Salsa Festival in Mainz as well and as a teacher in Salsa Camp Denmark. Rooted in Cuban Salsa and passionate about blending traditional rhythms with contemporary expression, Karolyn brings authenticity, versatility, and vibrant stage presence to every performance and workshop.
