Most of us have books at home sitting on our shelves, in a box or being used as a coaster. Wouldn't it be great if we could take the books we've read and swap them for stories that are new to us? On March 14th join us at the first Garden State Book Swap where people can come together and swap tales of adventure, romance, vampires, superheroes and all the other plot twists and turns that are hard to put down.
HOW IT WORKS-
You'll be given 1-2 tickets for each of the books you are swapping depending on the size/type.
Children's books, paperbacks, business, biographies, older books and educational/instructional books are worth 1 TICKET.
Hardcover novels and all Cookbooks books are worth 2 TICKETS.
EVERYONE trading in books will be given one EXTRA ticket so you may leave with more books then you swapped. :)
These tickets are how you pay for the books on the tables. All books on the tables are valued the same (1 or 2 TICKETS) as those being swapped depending on type/size. Everything is a fair trade. You can also mix and match and spend tickets however you want. Trade in a couple of smaller books for a larger hardcover book or 1 larger hardcover book for a couple of smaller ones.
BUY- We will have extra books for purchase from $1 - $2. The prices mirror the ticket values. If you don't have books to swap or want to leave with extra books then you can buy some. Proceeds will be considered a donation to The United Reformed Church.

We will also be collecting new packages of children's socks to donate to local families in need.
