Carolynn Ivanoff and Andrea M. Quinn study and interpret Cornelia Hancock and Arabella Barlow, nurses of the Civil War descended from families of the American Revolution at Hancock House, Wallace House &amp; Old Dutch Parsonage State Historic Sites, enriching the traditional interpretation of the American Revolution to include the long history of New Jersey women’s contributions to the United States.

Bonnie Goldman, Co-President of the Bordentown Historical Society, extends the discussion to include Clara Barton’s teaching career in New Jersey and shares progress and plans for Bordentown Historical Society’s restoration of the Clara Barton Schoolhouse.
