- **Event Description**: Hi y'all! This week is a first Thursday and so there's gonna be some DANCING! Huzzah! 

A cool dance with some particularly funky double triangles was brought to my attention from those who were at the Monday night class this week, so I'm thinking Double Triangles is gonna be the theme for the evening. Come ready to set!

Usual Details:
At NESFA Clubhouse (504 Medford St, Somerville).
7:00-9:00pm We will aim for one more in-depth dance the first half hour, and then some kind of footwork and figures lesson around 7:30 or so.
Pay what you will ($5-$20 recommended)
Masks currently recommended but not required, keep fingers crossed that the wastewater data for Boston stays below 500!

RSCDS Boston (our parent organization) has a membership year that runs from  October 1 - September 30. If you're planning to join, please write this class ("Somerville" or "Somerville GenderFree") as one of the classes you regularly dance at --enough members is how we get cool subsidies to have live music parties occasionally!

In a few weeks, on November 23rd, the branch will be hosting the annual Concert and Ceilidh. Come listen to good music and admire good dancing (and maybe get up at the intermission to join in some easy dancing for all!). The event is right at the Armory, less than a mile from NESFA. 

Gender-free Renaissance Dance class (aka SCA Dance Practice) is back for the season! Next meeting on Dec 16.  For more info, see https://carolingia.eastkingdom.org/calendar/dance-practice-3/. There also will be bonus dancing at the Union Square Ren Faire happening this weekend! Ask Justin for details!

Speaking of RSCDS Boston, our usual MC/Teacher (Kat Dutton hi!) will be teaching at "Cambridge" Class the three Mondays of December. If you would like guaranteed genderneutral dancing in a different environment with some different people, come swing by the Canadian American Club in Watertown on Monday December 1st, 8th, and 15th.
