Join us for a relaxed and creative evening exploring the world of texture art as we build a beautiful coastal-inspired seascape. Working on a small canvas, you’ll experiment with acrylic paints, modelling paste, texture beads, sand, and other tactile materials that bring real depth and dimension to your artwork. These elements capture the essence of texture art and allow your piece to truly come alive.
We may have some shells and starfish available at The Cellar, but as supplies can vary, we encourage you to bring along any shells, pebbles, or natural treasures you’d love to incorporate into your design. This workshop is one of our favourites because every creation is completely unique, shaped by your imagination and the textures you choose to explore.
A perfect evening for anyone who loves creativity, the coast, and hands-on art.
Suitable for beginners to the advanced. You do not have to be an artist or have any previous artistic experience to do this workshop.
Please do note that all our classes and workshops are adults only, therefore we only allow over 18’s to attend.
The session is £12.50, and all materials and refreshments are provided.
Please note booking is essential, we cannot accept walk ins on the day, full payment will also be required upon booking to secure your space. Please note that should you no longer be able to attend, we will be unable to move you to a different event or refund you due the cost of materials, unless we can fill your space.

We are located next to the pet shop and opposite the hairdressers.
As the name suggests we are located under ground, therefore there is no disabled access. However there are two large handrails to guide you down the stairs, and the area is bright and well lit.
There is ample free parking in the car park by the library and the co-op, please do however ensure that you check the time restrictions and areas that may be permit only.
And finally as we are an arts and crafts centre we therefore recommend that you always wear old clothes, or clothes that you do not mind permanent stains on, anything you wear or bring is at your own risk in terms of stains or damage.
