- **Event Description**: Session 2 offers a flexible, open-studio format where students can choose their own creative path each week. With guidance and encouragement along the way, the young artists will explore a variety of materials and techniques while working at their own pace.

Possible projects include cardboard creations, bean mosaics, directed drawing, paper mâché, collaging, and foil “stained glass. Or anything they can create out of the materials on hand!

Materials Available to Art Club Students:

Recycled materials (cardboard, tin cans, plastic bottles, magazines), flower vases, paper, cardstock, paint, markers, scissors, Mod Podge, foil, hot glue, popsicle sticks, fabric scraps, tape (painter’s, masking, duct, and fabric), air-dry clay, fake florals and navy beans.

If you and your student brainstorm an idea that requires materials not listed above, please feel free to reach out so I can make sure we have what’s needed. Students are also welcome to bring in items from home they think might be helpful for their project.
