Calling dancers and singers!!!!

The Party!!

The Ultimate Summer Island Party Music Tribute! All your favourite songs together with an original story set on the Greek islands will burst onto stage with 32 shows. Each cast will perform 16 shows.   

Audiences can opt for standard tickets or tickets including tappas and drinks. Weekend shows include an onstage after party with the cast for Tappas ticket holder.

Music Direction by Jon-Paul Ruschenbaum

Design by Zanodean Cassiem and Christalla Fernandes

Rehearsals commence: June 2026. Cast will need to be fully available in August.

Shows period: 01 September – 04 October. Cast must be available for at least half of this period - alternating per show or per week.

Auditions Sunday 18 January

16:00  Crew Meeting

Any interested volunteers for the following roles must please attend this meeting

·         Stage Manager
·         Stage Hand
·         Lighting Operator
·         Follow-spot Operator
·         Sound Operator
·         Sound Assistant
·         Costume Makers
·         Set Builders
·         Décor Artists

16:45  Dancers Audition

Male and female dancers from age 16 – 40.

Please arrive in clothes you can move in. A short piece of dancing will be taught.

18:15  Chorus Singer Audition

Male and female performers from age 16 – 40.

Please prepare the chorus of ‘Thank you for the Music’. You will sing this in small groups and be taught a small piece of movement.

19:15 Principal Singer Auditions

Please prepare the appropriate song to sing solo.

Female age 17 – 30 – ‘I Have a Dream’ or ‘Honey Honey’

Female age 30 – 70 – ‘The Winner Takes it All’

Male age 17 – 30 – ‘Lay All your Love on Me’

Male age 30 - 70 – ‘When All is said and done’

Following the singing auditions, those called back will be required to read and possibly move.
