- **Event Description**: It's back! The Soapstone Assault of the Month Club 2025. Complete the Soapstone Assault course at least one time every month in 2025. That's a whopping 12 assaults across the calendar year. If you manage to complete all 12, we will honor your awesomeness with a special award. There is no registration or fee, however we would encourage everyone to register for the Soapstone Assault race which will take place on July 27th 2025 (reg opens Feb 1st). Track your completions - take a picture at the top of the tower AFTER your complete Killer Hill. There will be a comment in the event discussion section for each month. POst them there and be sure to tag anyone that is with you.

Most of you likely already know the drill, but if you do not, it is advisable to run at least your first assault with someone who knows and understands the assault process. 

You will circumnavigate the base of Soapstone Mountain in a counterclockwise direction and each time you encounter a trail heading upwards, take it to the peak. Once at the top, you will take the same trail back down to resume the circuit around the base of the mountain. This up-and-down sequence is repeated for the first 5 different trails (and the dirt road) that runners come across. The 6th trail to be encountered is the infamous Killer Hill - you will finish the race at the top (do not go down Killer Hill).   The easiest route back to your car after you are done is to head down the paved road back to the lot.
