Sip & Stitch: Basic Sewing 101

Mend don’t spend! Are you tired of throwing away your clothes because they have a small hole or rip? Fed up with the cost of hemming your pants or replacing a button? Or maybe there is a favorite plushy in your house that needs repair? This workshop is perfect for beginners or anyone who wants to refresh their skills!

You’ll learn:
- What “tools” you need
- How to thread a needle
- How to tie a knot
- Basic stitching
- How to replace a button or snap

Bring your own item in need of repair or practice on some of our samples. Your ticket includes:
- A beginner sewing kit
- Step-by-step instructions in a welcoming, no pressure and fun environment
-A great opportunity to enjoy solo or with a friend!
