This 2-hour workshop will allow you to understand why you should consider yourself an athlete, what happens to your body when you ride and how this relates to components of fitness. You will be able to recognise why fitness is important and the impact it can have on both horse and rider. Finally, through a practical session you will learn how to plan an exercise programme and the types of exercises to include to target common rider-related problems such as asymmetry and lower back pain. 

Every learner will also receive a free 14-day Equestrian Sport Science taster exercise programme to follow!

Open to all abilities, riders and coaches, aged 18 years +

Early bird tickets - £17.00 (available until Saturday 6th June)

Standard ticket - £22.00
