We’re walking as part of the global 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence — shining a light for safety, solidarity and support.
On Wednesday night, Solihull glows with purpose.

? WHY WE’RE WALKING – 16 Days of Activism

We’re walking to raise awareness of gender-based violence.
We walk to stand with survivors.
We walk to show that safety matters, community matters, and people DO show up.
This walk is open to everyone — all ages, all backgrounds, all people.

? SAFETY INFO 

Here’s how we plan keep everyone safe while still having the best night ever:

✨ Bring light! Glow sticks, torches, LED bits, flashing accessories — the more creative, the better.
✨ Stay with the group — we’re one big glowing crowd; let’s keep it that way.
✨ Wear comfy shoes — the park loves to surprise people with secret muddy bits.
✨ Wrap up warm — we want glowing people, not frozen snowmen.
✨ First aiders will be on duty — easy to spot (they’ll be the organised ones).
✨ If you feel unwell or anxious — tell a marshal or buddy. No one handles anything alone.

❗ High-viz is for marshals only so they can be clearly identified.
