About Xi’an
Xi'an, the historic city, was known as Chang'an in ancient times and is currently the capital of Shaanxi Province. With a history spanning over 3,000 years, it is a traditional city that has served as the capital for 13 kingdoms or feudal dynasties successively since the 11th century BC, including the Zhou, Qin, Han, Sui, and Tang dynasties. Xi'an marked the starting point of the world-renowned Silk Road and is regarded as one of the "Four Great Ancient Civilizations," alongside Rome, Athens, and Istanbul. Walking around this ancient city feels like traveling through thousands of years of history. It is open to foreign tourists and is renowned not only for its historical relics but also for its rich culinary tradition featuring diverse and multi-ethnic foods.

>> Climate
There are sharp distinctions among seasons in Xi’an. The average temperature in August is 26.3 ℃, ranging from 20.8 to 31.1 ℃. The average relative humidity is 69%, with 66.7 mm average rainfall.
>> Location
Xi'an is located in the Guanzhong basin in the center of China. With the Qinling Mountains to the south and the Weihe River to the north, it is in a favorable geographical location surrounded by rivers and hills. The total area of Xi'an is 9,983 square kilometers.
>> Transportation
>> Flight Connections:
Xi'an Xianyang International Airport, located 25km from downtown Xi'an, is a 4F-level civil international airport. It ranks among China's top eight regional hub airports and the world's top 100 major airports.
Xi'an offers direct international flights to various countries, including Europe, Asia, Southeast Asia, Central Asia, The Middle East, and Oceania etc. Xi'an Xianyang International Airport provides convenient services such as international payment options, streamlined accommodation registration, and quick access to tourist attractions for foreign visitors.
>> High-speed railway：
Xi'an is located at the center of China, which makes it a natural crossroads connecting the east and west, as well as the north and south. Xi'an stands out as a key high-speed rail hub in China. From Xi'an, a 2-hour flight can cover 75% of China's territory and access 85% of economic resources, while a 3-hour flight can reach all provincial capitals and major economic cities.
>> The conference team will provide pick-up services at the Xi'an Xianyang International Airport and Xi’an North Railway station.
