Настоящето събитие ще е и запис на живо. В създаването на "Ритуал в 5" Стефан Горанов черпи идеи и вдъхновение от: Соловите композиции на Макс Роуч - Drums Also Waltz, The Third Eye, For Big Sid. Циклично-повторяемите ритмични структури характерни за музиката на Африка, Карибите, Бразилия и България. Структурата на произведения от минимализма в музиката от втората половина на ХХ век. “Ритуал в 5” следва рамката на The Rudimental Ritual - легендарен етюд за малък барабан от Алан Доусън. Настоящият концерт добавя елемента на оркестрация върху целия комплект барабани, ритмично разнообразие и форма, но в същото време запазва духа на творческо търсене. "Ритуал в 5" е естествено продължение на творческите търсения на Стефан Горанов в областта на солирането на комплект барабани. Стефан има записан един студиен албум за лейбъла "Махорка" - Minimal Images, в който подходът към солирането на барабани е силно повлиян от минимализма в музиката на ХХ век и включва електроника на живо към акустичния звук на барабаните. С "Ритуал в 5" Стефан Горанов се завръща към оригиналната си идея за изцяло акустичен звук, вдъхновена от честванията през 2024г. по повод 100-годишнината от рождението на един от пионерите в солирането на комплект барабани - американският барбанист Макс Роуч. Стефан Горанов е един от най-активните участници на българската музикална сцена през последните десет години. Записва първия си албум през 2015г. в Ню Йорк с първия си испански квартет, с който свири в САЩ, Нидерландия, Испания и България. С групата си Горафънк участва на фестивали в България и Испания. От 2018г. работи активно върху друга своя формация - Горасуинг - с която има записани три албума и участия на много фестивали в България. Свири с Димитър Льолев, Антони Дончев, Теодосий Спасов и много други български музиканти. Участник е в последния албум на Милчо Левиев "Соната `57". In creating "Ritual in 5" Stefan Goranov draws ideas and inspiration from: The solo compositions of Max Roach - Drums Also Waltz, The Third Eye, For Big Sid. The cyclically-repeated rhythmic structures characteristic of the music of Africa, the Caribbean, Brazil and Bulgaria. The structure of works from minimalism in music from the second half of the twentieth century. “Ritual in 5” follows the framework of The Rudimental Ritual - a legendary etude for snare drum by Alan Dawson. The present concerto adds the element of orchestration to the entire drum kit, rhythmic variety and form, but at the same time retains the spirit of creative search. "Ritual in 5" is a natural continuation of Stefan Goranov's creative searches in the field of drum kit soloing. Stefan has recorded one studio album for the "Mahorka" label - Minimal Images, in which the approach to drum soloing is strongly influenced by minimalism in 20th century music and incorporates live electronics to the acoustic sound of the drums. With "Ritual in 5" Stefan Goranov returns to his original idea for a completely acoustic sound, inspired by the celebrations in 2024 on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the birth of one of the pioneers in drum kit soloing - the American drummer Max Roach. Stefan Goranov is one of the most active participants in the Bulgarian music scene in the last ten years. He recorded his first album in 2015 in New York with his first Spanish quartet, with which he played in the USA, the Netherlands, Spain and Bulgaria. With his band Gorafunk he has participated in festivals in Bulgaria and Spain. Since 2018 is actively working on another formation of his - Goraswing - with which he has recorded three albums and participated in many festivals in Bulgaria. He plays with Dimitar Liolev, Antoni Donchev, Teodosii Spasov and many other Bulgarian musicians. He is a participant in Milcho Leviev's latest album "Sonata `57".
