Take this class before you ever step up to the machine. This class will prepare you to do free-motion quilting on your quilt.

 

You will also learn to operate the machine safely and to get a feel for how it works.

 

Get tips and tricks on how to load your quilt onto the machine and other valuable "how-to" information.

Then, sign up for the next series of Longarming classes and learn such things as Free-Motion Quilting and Ruler Work: Longarming 201, Longarming 202: Advanced Free Motion, and Longarming 203: Advanced Ruler Work.



***This class is required prior to renting the machine. It is important to start renting the machine and quilting within one month of the class to retain what you learn. If you do not rent the machine for longer than 30 days, you will need to take a refresher class to brush up on how to use the rental. Please book your rental day at the same time you sign up for the class. Call 425-533-2566 to book your time slot.***

The price includes Longarm 101 (a four-hour, hands-on class), up to six hours (one day) of Handi Quilter rental (must be completed within 30 days), and the starter kit* of supplies you will need to use the machine. This is a great deal and you are saving money over purchasing everything separately.
