- **Event Description**: Please join us for Ash Wednesday service on February 18 at 6 p.m. in the Chapel. 
 
In this service, we will receive ashes on our forehead or on our hand to remind us: 
 
- God created us from the dust of the earth 
- We are not perfect 
- We need to ask for forgiveness 
- We need to forgive other people  
- The ashes also remind us; we are forgiven by God! 
 
Before the service, we will offer an opportunity to write on a piece of paper something to give up for Lent or to have Him forgive. Only you and God know what you write.  
 
Once the service has concluded, we will walk outside to the courtyard (or under the portico in the event of rain) and place the piece of paper in a fire pit as we prepare for Easter. All ages are welcome!
