- **Event Description**: This outreach experience is open to WOMEN within the Special Operations Forces Community.About this EventInterwoven: Breathwork & Contrast TherapyInterwoven Camp Lejeune invites women within Special Operations to a gathering at Groundstone Jiu Jitsu.The morning begins with grounding yoga led by Angelic Elrod, creating space for reflection and intentional movement. Participants will then be guided through breathwork led by Dave Brown of Alpha Wave Project, using a variety of techniques designed to consciously regulate the nervous system, either calming it down or energizing it as needed. The session focuses on equipping participants with practical tools they can use daily to enhance focus, performance, and overall well being.This will be followed by a contrast therapy experience, alternating between sauna and cold plunge exposure. This practice is designed to strengthen the body’s resilience, improve circulation, enhance recovery, and sharpen mental clarity. Participants will also experience the emotional benefits of intentional stress adaptation, building confidence, focus, and overall emotional strength.Rooted in the principles of Wim Hof breathwork, the experience mirrors the body’s response to high stress situations and offers tools to return to calm. Participants will explore their personal edge, strengthen resilience, and support nervous system regulation as they move from activation into rest and digest.New to Interwoven events with The Station? Water, tea, coffee, and breakfast items.Please bring a water bottle and towel.Please wear clothing that can get wet.The yoga area can be a little chilly, consider wearing warm clothing to begin.Consider bringing a change of clothes.A 12 hour fast is suggested for participants ages 21 and older only. This is optional and not required for participation.Please invite a friend within the Special Operations Community who is new to The Station.This is a first come first serve event with a maximum capacity of 18 participants.
