This is Week #5 of our Active Paddle Series, and we’ll be running the Flat River from Whites Bridge to downtown Lowell.

⚠️ Note: There will be one portage at Fallasburg Dam.

⚡ Paddle Details:
This is an active training paddle.
• Pace: ~4–4.5 mph (depending on flow)
• Distance: ~14.5 miles
• One short stop as needed

Current flow is around 4–4.5 CFS, making river conditions ideal for this stretch.

💡 Navigation Tip:
We highly recommend copying and pasting the GPS coordinates directly into your maps app (Google Maps, Apple Maps, Waze). Many access points don’t have reliable physical addresses.

• PFD (life jacket)

• Dress for the weather (warm, dry layers recommended)
• Full change of clothes (especially if you don’t have a dry suit)
