Wednesday, July 8 9am-11am: Chaos in the Garden! It's okay if your garden is messy. In addition to a walkaround lecture, everyone will learn how to build a simple composter. You will take home a tray of seeds that you start.

Thursday, July 9, 10am-noon: Non-Toxic Cleaners. Ever wondered what we've really been putting all over our counters and homes? It's not pretty. Come learn about and make your own non-toxic cleaners for around the home. Bonus: you will also get a recipe to make your own laundry detergent out of simple ingredients. Please bring a large glass jar such as a large pickle jar or something around 1/2 gallon. $50

Friday, July 10, 3-7pm: Pressure Canning/Make your own spice mixes: We will learn all about when you need to pressure can and can some chicken thighs or legs. Pressure canning applies to meat and certain veggies and fruits too. Once you know the basics, you will have the confidence to do it on your own. You will leave with some chicken you helped can and a supply list of what you need to do it at home. While things are cooking and pressure canning, we will make our own spice mixes out of commonly found bulk spices. Don't buy that taco seasoning anymore! We will make several different types like taco, pickling spices and something else yet to be determined. $100 combo class price for both.

APPLE WEEK!!!
Wednesday, July 29, 3-7pm: Pie Class/Make your own Apple Pectin. You will learn how to make a pie crust from scratch. We will be making a deep-dish apple pie together and everyone gets to eat some! All recipes will be provided, and you will learn Crystal's family recipe for the easiest pie crust ever from scratch. $85 Combo class price for both

Thursday, July 30, 8am-noon: Water Bath Canning! This class received the MOST votes in our poll. We will be making apple butter together and water bath canning it. Everyone leaves with their own jar, the recipe, and a material lists of everything you need to water bath can at home. $75.

Friday, July 31, 3-6pm: Food Dehydrating and Apple Cider Vinegar!: You will learn a lot about dehydrating food and see at least 3 different kinds of dehydrators. After we fill all the trays with apple slices, everyone will make their own Jerky Dehydrator. Then we will use the leftover apples bits and scraps for everyone to take home a starter batch of your own Apple Cider Vinegar! All recipes and instructions included. $90 Combo price for both classes.
